Prophylactic to apply Petroleum Jelly as makeup remover?

Recently I decided to endeavor using vaseline as a makeup remover and it seems to work pretty well overall. The tub says "do not get in eyes" only other than that, is it safe to utilise petroleum jelly equally makeup remover? Is there any reason why you shouldn't?

It's not harmful- it's a bit harder to spread than something like Albolene, which is almost identical but a bit more than liquidy. Once more, not harmful, but tin can exist inconvenient and blurry if you arrive the eyes. Thanks for the suggestion! I desire something that'south prophylactic for my optics too and it looks like Albolene would be good for that. Do you think vaseline would be safe to use on my eyes every day even though the tub says to avoid it?

Try an oil cleanser instead like the Vichy one with micellar h2o. I'm certain some people dear using Petroleum Jelly but it will get in your eyes and make yous all blurry and it's non simple to remove 100% which is ideal as a terminal footstep AFTER your skincare but non before.

I really exercise this all the time!! Petroleum jelly won't injure you lot at all just I find that its pretty difficult to get the remainder off afterwards, even with water, other cleansers, etc.
